Is that the little boy who lived down the lane? Don't you remember the last time he came? They dropped him off to melt our fears away. He fell from heaven one hot August day. It was 10,000 degrees. He left a shadow on the stone and countless sins to atone. A fat man followed, so he wasn't alone, to add a hundred thousand sins of his own. Has that fat man gotten fatter? Will he fall and watch us scatter? Is that little boy all grown? Is that little boy all grown? Will we see the light we've shown? Will we see the light?

Grandfather 02:16
Can you see the lines across my face? Tightly wound, no moments left to waste. With my back up to the wall and weighted chains that rise before they fall. I'm running 'round in circles without legs. Tell you every time, I'm never vague. You see I'm hung. It's obvious. With two large hands a third's superfluous. When I reach both arms into the sky, you'll hear me sing my most repeated cry. Shattering the prior zen. Not so loud, but louder than a bird perched on a pendulum. Yet softer than the song of Ben. Don't know why but I can tell you when.

Late Night 03:40
In the air, just out of sight, a darkness somehow burning bright makes everything seem possible today. So don't turn away. Today, don't turn away. Late night. We have it all. Suddenly free and outta control. Late night. Can you recall? You and me danced a dream in my soul. Late night. No one's around. Come and see ecstasy underground. Late night. We'll have it all so good. Move with me in symmetry like you should. I feel it in your searching touch, releasing the endorphin rush. I feel it flowing down into my veins. You see the writing on the wall. There's one blue brick that says it all. Forever. And forever we'll remain. Late night. There's no stopping now. Dance with me tight as time will allow_ Late night. We can't be long. Soon the sun comes to silence our song. Singing ba ba badah yeah.

Forever Home 05:29
You said goodbye to me. Love poured from your eyes for me. Drifted into a dream. Now I see you again and hear all your cries for me. You won't be alone once you find my forever home where I wait for you. I wait for you. I'll be such a good boy even crows won't annoy while I wait for you. Maybe I'll send a sign. Something to ease your mind. It might remind you of me when you see the smile. Maybe it's me inside. 'Cause I wait for you. Yes l wait for you. I'll be such a good boy even crows won't annoy while I wait for you. I long to be in the safety of your straddle. Let's saddle up and ride away. You can take your time before sunset finds your shadow We'll be together someday. l'll wait for you. l'll wait for you. I'll be such a good boy. Turn your tears into joy 'cause I wait for you. I wait for you. I wait for you.

Would you like a wooden place to go? Or be carried by the wind when it blows? Swaddled or scattered? Which would you rather? Will this story have a plot or not? I just can't say. Shall we place it in the fire to burn away? Throw on a mantel. I swear I can't tell. I don't know. I won't know what difference it'll make. Lay me in an ocean bed for a deep, deep sleep. Remember what I said. Promise me to keep gently tucked away or prominent display. Whichever helps you lay by night and rise by day.

That was it. Just that little bit. That was the last degree. And so went the experiment from sea to shining sea. No ounce given to prevent. The time for action came and went. The green provided became Soylent with the blood of women and men. Woe, woe, woe, to those who dwell on this planet. It served them well. The trumpets are sounding 7 notes to be held. Then it will all be done. The windmill's turn disturbed your view of the birdies and the eagle too. Now look what you are witness to and still you won't repent. And to this day, denials persist. You spoil the land and poison the fish. Now watch your species cease to exist for the end has just begun. Still the storms keep surging. The seas, they rise. Filled with mother nature's cries. Refuse an inconvenient truth. Refuse the scientific proof. Shut your ears. Act aloof. Earth will start anew. Now it's set. None shall be left. Yours was the hand of death. We'll be watching as you hold your last breath. Maybe then you'll turn blue.

Come lie by my side. Look at how the stars bling darling. Look into the stars and see. Oh why? How can I stare into that darkness darling? The dark is closing in on me and the stars we love just left us here. Can't you see the brightness here my love? We still have our bitten heart and every heart to follow hers. With every ending comes a start. Oh, I'll try. I'll try my dear to stare into the brightness, brightness. The brightness that's surrounding me. Brightness is surrounding me. Brightness is surrounding me.
